Sorry I've missed some photoblog days. I've had the most exciting development happen: shooting real clients. Yes! It may mean this blog has to take a hiatus, but I hope to somehow link to the website I'm developing. Stay tuned!
Quite possibly, the cutest picture I have EVER taken. Ever. I took about 16 of these, so you'll be seeing this one again. Every weekend we have a game. (:
We visited the Boardwalk while we were at the beach, and my 3-year old had these wide eyes the entire time, taking it all in. I love these serious shots of him, it really reveals his personality.
Check out the wave crashing behind the sand castle that is about to be crushed. (I know! What are the chances I could capture these two things before they crash?)
Ugh, the orientation on this is wrong. it should be horizontal; oh well. I love this picture so much. It says, "Eat Drink Live Love Laugh". And I love that this is in my family!
"Breath deep, the gathering gloom... watch-lights fade from every room.. "
Nope, not killer bees, (no "Africanized" bees here!) Just a bee display at the museum, which explained about worker bees and drones. And, of course, the Queen (me.)
It was raining the first day we arrived at the lake this summer, so we went to a cool science museum, where the next few days' worth of photoblog shots will be.. enjoy!
This is the gorgeous view that greets you when flying back into D.C. (when you get on the right side of the plane, thank you husband!) The National Mall by air, and Georgetown.

It's really very simple. I love the visual representation of the world and the people in it. I love the joy, the pain, and everything in between. I have always had this love affair, and probably always will.
I have another blog for the written word. It turns out, I have a lot to say over there.
Someday, I would very much like to formalize my love affair into being a portrait photographer, and this blog is part of that journey. If you see something you like, please let me know.
