Day 28: This shot does not have any effects added to it.. I took it through the funny glass piece in the front door, which distorts everything a little bit.

Day 29: My black lab loves to curl his paws in one big pile when he naps. The "pile of paws" shot is one of my favorites.. I've never quite gotten the light right, bt still working on it.

I've been starting to experiment with the various monochrome/filter settings on my camera.. I hope more exciting things will be coming (other than my favorite setting, Sepia.)

Like I said. Just cannot help myself. I really love the light in his eyes, and smile, and curiosity. I'm a big fan of over-the-shoulder shots.

For the record, I've been struggling to find shots that are not my two boys or two furry kids! I just cannot seem to help myself.

I'm a huge fan of playing around with depth of field; plus I like the white against the muted earth tones behind it.

I like that this photo is slightly uncomfortable to look at, yet the colors beckon.. it also speaks to the fleeting passage of time. I'd like to soft this up with an effect, just can't seem to find the time to play with them yet.

If I'd had the digital SLR then, I would have corrected the shadow across his face!.. but I like the grain, especially in the green hills/marina in the background.
